Walk Away

‪A very special person asked me, why do i still wanna be friends with people who publicly mocked me for political reasons. ‬‪She asked me why i didn’t fire back.‬

‪The answer is because they don’t know any better.

They forgot that way before they even mention the word “politics” in their conversations, I lived it. I know more. Seen more. Met more. Understood more.

They speak as if they’re morally better than me, and so their truth is the truth.

But my eyes saw more than they ever can see.

Most importantly, I forgive them & my decision for not confronting them is a decision based on the unity I plan to keep after the election.‬

‪I care about how they feel. I can take the heat. And so I walk away. ‬

  2. Pandji, pilkada tinggal besok. Lusa adalah waktunya anda membuktikan apa yg anda tulis di atas.

    Pada saat Jokowi tarung di Pilpres vs Prabowo, banyak org berkata persis seperti yg anda katakan. Tapi begitu hasilnya menunjukanpd kemenangan Jokowi, maka yg keluar dr mulut mereka adalah “Kecurangan Pilpres”, “Sedot data”, ” DPT palsu” dll, dll.

    Tidak berhenti sampai di situ, masa kelam (buat mereka) dimulai, di mana semua kebijakan Jokowi adalah bencana, kesalahan, tidak berpihak pd rakyat, dll, dll.

    Pandji, tulisan anda di atas adalah sebuah pledge, a commitment. Jika lusa hasil menunjukan kemenangan pd Ahok dan anda mengeluarkan satu saja, cukup satu, dr pernyataan-pernyataan khas losers di atas, maka anda sudah menelan ludah sendiri.

    Dan pernyataan anda di blog ini hanyala pure rubbish.

    I’m one of your fan. I still kept holding my full thoughts to be expressed because I owed a lot to you. I don’t think I’m morally better than you and I still kinda wished that you were paid by Anies instead of your own decision to fight for someone you believed in. Because when you fight for someone, you will be willing to overlook things; politics aside. Also since you know and lived ‘politics’, I think you fully understand that there will be collateral damage and I still can’t take it to myself that you’re willing to accept that collateral damage. I don’t know, maybe it’s time for me to walk away from you too. Please send my regards to your Mom. Cheers 🙂

    And you always defend yourself when we say “We’re losing you… You’ve changed…” .

    You said, We don’t understand you… We’re not on the same page.. I’ve know better… And now you say you’re eyes saw more than them…

    I think, The time when you thinking so high for yourself and doesn’t aknowledged others people view…. Thats the point were we losing you…

    And i hope all fight and effort that you do, really gonna make Indonesia going to a better place
